A small eruption marked the Nakadake crater of Aso volcano, on the island of Kyushu in the Nippon archipelago, this August 8, 2015 around 12:15 pm, accompanied by an ash plume rising to 600 meters. No injuries were reported.
The activity seems more phreatic, with phases of "jet-like venting" of ash, that typically strombolian.
The JMA maintains the alert level on 2 on a scale of 5, with a forbidden one kilometer zone around the crater.

In Papua New Guinea, the Darwin VAAC reported small ash emissions at Manam volcano in the recent days: on August 6, he forms a plume of 2,700 meters, drifting 40 km to the northwest. On August 8, ashes emissions have formed a plume 6,500 meters drifting south southwest. The aviation alert level remains at red .

The activity of Colima / Mexico continues with, on August 8th, a beautiful explosion at 5:19 and to 7:50, another accompanied by a plume of an estimated height of 3,900 meters above the crater.
Civil Protection recommends not borrow the different canyons around Colima, due to lahars formation dangers in times of rain.
