In the Philippines, the seismological network of Kanlaon volcano recorded this December 10 one volcanic earthquake in the last 24 hours, and emission of a small plume of white steam.
On 11 December, the Phivolcs inform over four volcanic earthquakes recorded in the last 24 hours; two of these were accompanied by small eruptions of ash at 5:13, lasting over one minute. They produced a small dirty white to gray plume, rising 600 meters before drifting to the southwest ; traces of ash were observed on the southwestern slopes of the volcano.
The status of Kanlaon remains at 1 / abnormal conditions and instability, together with a permanent danger zone and prohibited to 4 km radius.
