In Kamchatka, neighboring volcanoes Karymsky and Zhupanovsky are animated in recent days, and emit ash plumes detected by satellites, VAAC Tokyo and observers.
In Zhupanovsky, a beautiful sequence shows a plume of ash and gas on February 10, amounting to 8,000 meters asl. The explosive activity continued on 13 in the morning, with a plume amount to more than 10,000 meters and dissipating about 300 km to the east.

Semeru, on Java island, has experienced this February 13th an emission of ash to 6h.05 local following a collapse of the dome. The ash covered a good half of the volcano, sector South and Southeast.
