In Guatemala, INSIVUMEH inform us of a change of activity at Fuego.
It is characterized by moderate to heavy explosions, ash plumes amount between 4,600 and 4,800 meters asl, before moving westward at 15 km. The explosions are accompanied by shock waves, fallout and noise audible to more than 20 km.
Ash falls were reported on Morella, Panimache I & II, and Sangre de Cristo.
This increase in activity could lead to the 6th eruption of the year, in terms of days or weeks.

Since Wednesday, the Bárðarbunga know forty earthquakes. The strongest tremors were recorded on Friday, of magnitude 4.2 and 3.5. The location of these earthquakes is close to that of the dike that created the eruption of Holuhraun and centered for now on the Volcano Bárðarbunga

In Chile, four volcanoes are on technical alert Amarillo; the Plancho Peteroa in the central area, the Copahue, the Nevados de Chillan and Villarrica in the southern zone.
The Laguna del Maule, in the central area, still green alert, is bubbling, which is normal for lakes and lagoons close to a volcanic arc. They are associated with the presence of fractures or faults that circulate liquids and gases.
