In Masaya, the lava lake continues its usual activity, with a slight increase in the amount of emitted gas.The south and southwest edges of the crater Santiago show an instability; the possibility of collapse, where is located the Mirador 2, have caused the closure of  the volcano park, as a precaution.

The other volcanoes, Momotombo, Telica, Cerro Negro and Concepcion, have a qualified usual activity.

In Mexico, glow was observed during the night of 22 April to the crater of Popocatepetl, increasing during exhalations.

The seismic networks of Popocatepetl recorded 117 low intensity exhalations in 24 hours, accompanied by water vapor emissions. The volcano has been under a heavy cloud cover, which prevented direct observation before the end of the afternoon.
