The Pavlof, in Alaska, saw his color code high to orange and his level alert to Watch on May 13, 2016 at 12h04, following an increase in its seismic activity at levels typically associated with a possible eruptive activity of low levels.
Minor ash emissions were observed by local observers and webcams seen on May 14 between 7:27 p.m.and 9:07 p.m. local. These ashes spread remained close to the volcano. Seismicity remains high and above baseline levels.
