The explosive-effusive activity continues to Klyuchevskoy, with plumes rising to 5500 meters asl, drifting southeast at 30 km.

The Malang airport, closed for two days because of ash from Bromo, reopened this July 17th.

Local authorities say they are ready to help to secure the Kasada's 
ceremonies : " a special treatment has been concluded between the parties, remaining attentive to the safety margin."
Hopefully that Gunung Bromo will rest calm for July 20 and 21, to allow safe festivities. The Tengger people believe in anyway.
