The Nevados de Chillan, in alert amarilla, presented on August 8 at 17:32 a strong emission of ash. The plume emitted at this time has climbed, with little internal energy, to 4,500 meters. Other ash emissions then followed ... all in the standards of the alert level, which remains unchanged.

The Bromo, still active in the Tengger caldera, emits ash this 9th augustus. Some airline company, including Garuda, have diverted the flights to Malang to Surabaya.

The Santiaguito continues its activity, this August 9 with two explosions qualified as moderate.
Heavy rains in the Quetzaltenango department have remobilized the ashes deposited by the eruptions of Santiaguito, and formed moderate lahars in the Rio Cabello de Angel, causing no incident for now.
The special bulletin of 8 August at 18h local talk of a lahar of 18 meters wide, with a height of 1.5 meters, carrying fine materials and blocks between 40 cm and 1.5 m. Despite the constant activity of the volcano, the lahar temperature is moderate; it has a slight sulfur smell.
