Etna - significant degassing at the Voragine on August 9, in the center of the photo - photo Sandro Dimola / via VolcanoDiscovery
Having observed by the webcam of Etna / Monte Cagliato on August 7 a pulsating glow at the Voragine crater, produced by a small explosive activity within the crater, a visit of the summit and a survey have shown the formation of a small crater-pit, a new "puttusiddu" on the east wall. It is off 20 to 30 meters, and present a glow in the evening of 10.08, after intense degassing during the day.
