Turrialba - the eruption of 2:53 / 19.09.2016 view the thermal camera of the RSN
This September 19, the volcano has resumed service from 2:53 a.m., with an eruption which lasted 15 minutes, characterized by the expulsion of ash, gas and incandescent rocks at about 1,000 meters above the crater.
RSN reported a second explosion at 5:33 extending over 8 minutes, and marked with the thermal camera, located 500 meters from the active crater.

Another explosion at 11:32 during 13 minutes was accompanied by an ash plume rising to 4,000 meters, according to UNA.
Maria Martinez, a volcanologist at the Ovsicori, reports ash falls on communities in the north and west of San José, including Coronado, Moravia, Tibas, Guadalupe, Escazu, and into the province of Alajuela.
The ash on the runways of the Juan Santamaría International Airport caused its temporary closing at 13:15, in principle up to 21 hours.
In the afternoon, two explosions were identified: at 2:37 p.m. and 3:34 p.m. ; the latest knows more energy to drive at 4:06 p.m..
