During the afternoon and night of 20 September, the activity remained at Turrialba with small eruptions and plumes rapidly dispersed toward the northwest.
On September 21, the eruptions are continuing with emissions for 20 to 35 minutes and plumes amount to 600-700 meters, with dispersion to the "Valle Central", where we noted a smell of sulfur and ash falls.
From 9:48, there has been a larger eruption.

The explosive-effusive eruption continues at Klyuchevskoy, accompanied by a rising ash plume above 6,000 meters asl., before dispersing to the south-west of the volcano.
Incandescent avalanches of blocks mark the southwestern and the eastern slopes of the Klyuchevskoy volcano.
