The Fuego shows only a weak white degassing, intersected in the night of March 10 by six explosions, accompanied by falls of ash on the southwest of the volcano and small avalanches in the barrancas Santa Teresa, Trinidad and Las Lajas.
The degassing continued on March 11, always accompanied by small explosions, without falls of ashes reported.

In addition to its traditional "exhalations", the Popocatépetl presented a moderate explosion on 11 March at 18:43, accompanied by a plume of ash rising more than 2,000 meters above the crater.
