In Etna, the effusion of lava, still well present on April 8, seems to have decreased sharply yesterday.
Near the emission point located at the southern base of the south-eastern crater at 2.900 m altitude, the lava flow is done in a tunnel, to go out lower in a canal. Further down, small lava fronts are observed on the southwest flank of the volcano.
The tremor remains low, with very slight fluctuations.

In Peru, explosions continue at the Sabancaya, with plumes reaching 4,800 meters above the crater and ash falls affecting the villages of the valley of Colca (Area of Arequipa).
OVI recommends wearing masks and goggles, clogging house openings and protecting livestock.
