Some news of the eruptions in progress, for lack of news:
In Peru, the Sabancaya, still in orange alert, continues its activity with emissions of ash and gas and explosions.
The ashes dispersed mostly east of the volcano.

In Mexico, over the past 24 hours, Popocatépetl has experienced 90 exhalations of steam and gas, of low intensity. Forty small explosions generated small plumes less than 1,500 meters high, containing little ash; In some one, the Cenapred indicates the presence of incandescent fragments falling in the crater and on the upper flanks of the volcano within a radius of less than 500 meters. Seismicity level, a volcano-tectonic earthquake of M1,7 was recorded on the night of May 20 at 23:35, as well as harmonic tremor for 60 minutes. Intermittent night glow episodes were observed above the crater.
The level of alert remains unchanged, with advice to avoid climbing the volcano and approaching the crater.

In Vanuatu, the observatory confirmed the level 2 alert for the Yasur volcano on Tanna Island, due to the level of major instability that characterizes it. Some stronger explosions can eject volcanic bombs around the crater. The permanent exclusion zone is closed, and its access is prohibited. The limit of this zone, fixed at approximately 395 meters of the crater, is justified to stay away from ballistic projections, but also from the gases and ashes emitted. Access is still allowed in the fields marked A and B.
