The Klyuchevskoy continues its activity with ash explosions and a rising plume at times up to 8.000 meters asl., before extending 45 km to the SSO. A 33 x 26 km ash cloud was observed at 190 km at the volcano's SSO.

At Bogoslof, a brief explosion, less than 10 minutes, began on June 1 at 2:42 UTC. It was detected by seismic and infrasonic systems, and a small volcanic cloud observed on the satellite images.
The ash plume rose to more than 7,000 meters, and drifted towards the Bering Sea.
The explosion was preceded by a seismic swarm of several hours. The level of alert is unchanged: Orange / Watch.
