The activity of the Pacaya is increasing due to its seismicity / RSAM graph, characterized by 5 to 7 strombolian explosions, moderate to strong, felt up to 5 km from the crater mainly on the northern and eastern flanks, with vibrations of the roof of houses. Nocturnal incandescence is visible.
According to the Insivumeh, this activity is produced by an accumulation of materials in the crater, due to small collapses in the Mackenney crater. The observatory does not rule out the possibility of a new lava flow or a stronger explosion in the next hours or days.

The activity of the Sabancaya decreased during the last week, 7 to 13 August. The average number of daily explosions is 49; The predominant seismic activity relates to fluid movements, characterized by LP earthquakes. The mean height of the ash plumes emitted is also decreasing, reaching 3,200 meters above the crater, with a dispersion over 40 km east-north-east. Sulfur dioxide emissions are maximum 912 tonnes / day.

At Piton de La Fournaise, after a month of eruption, the tremor is stabilized since 48 hours, following a phase of slight increase.
No volcano-tectonic earthquake was recorded under the summit craters during the day of 13 August.
The slight inflation (swelling) of the entire terminal cone of the volcano is always observed (<1 cm since the beginning of the eruption).
Despite the bad weather conditions of the weekend, some observations were made on the site on 13.08 afternoon by OVPF team. No more projections were observed even if gas puffs were heard and were visible in the form of flares. Further downstream, about 2 km from the eruptive mouth, about 400 m from the Crater Gros Bénard and 500 m from the Mare de Lave, pahoehoe flows were observed. The presence of clouds, this WE and today, unfortunately did not make it possible to carry out the estimates on the flow by the use of satellites.
Meteo France is forecasting an improvement in conditions for this August 15th.

In Poas and Turrialba, steam and gas emanations are maintained, sometimes with sporadic and passive emissions of ash in Turrialba.
