At Agung, the summit is dominated today by a plume of steam up to 200 meters, possibly potentiated by rains on the summits yesterday.
In comparison with October 14, seismicity shows a decrease in episodes on October 15:
- 14 October: 764 deep VA volcanic earthquakes, 283 VB volcanic earthquakes, 89 local tectonic earthquakes, and 6 nonharmonic tremor episodes.
- 15 October: 474 deep VA volcanic earthquakes, 270 VB volcanic earthquakes, 44 local tectonic earthquakes.

In Villarica, the day of 16 September is to shown in the activity table of the previous month.
At about 8:39, a particle emission from the bottom of the crater generated a brown plume reaching 250 meters in height, and ash falls on the northwest and northeast upper flanks, clearly visible from Pucón.
On 26 September, on the basis of photos, the POVI determines the depth of the crater at 105 meters and its diameter at 55 meters; the crater houses a central active orifice with a diameter of 6 meters.
The bottom of the crater rose about 4 meters between 26 September and 15 October and the diameter of the active orifice has increased by about 2 meters.

At Shinmoedake, the forbidden zone was extended to 3 km around the crater, due to an increase in volcanic gas emissions, and the concomitant risk of eruption.
