In Kadovar, Simon Carn reports an increase in sulfur dioxide emissions, based on NASA Aura IMO satellite data on 18 January.

Prevailing winds yesterday and today drive some of this cloud towards the main island.
On the video below, you can see the imposing plume of steam at the south coast, and a dark mass of undetermined nature at its base. The waters bordering the coast are discolored by the gases emitted.

The Agung has just been the site of a Strombolian eruption on 19 January at 19:20 WITA, accompanied by incandescent projections and an ash plume at 2,500 meters above the summit, dispersing to the east.

In Ecuador, the seismicity of the Reventador gives 45 LP earthquakes, 46 explosions, 15 emission tremor episodes, and 9 of harmonic tremor, for the period from 17 to 18 January at 11am.
The ash plumes reach more than 600 meters above the crater level, with dispersion to the west.
During the night of 18 to 19.01, incandescence in the upper part and falls of blocks on 500 meters side OSE were observed.
