After the eruption of July 2 in the early evening, some forest fires on the slopes of the volcano Agung marked the day of July 3.
On July 3, an eruption was observed at 4:13 WITA, accompanied by an ash plume rising about 2,000 meters above the summit. It lasted +/- 7 minutes with a maximum amplitude of 21 mm on the seismogram.

The volcano's conduit, free, allows again ashy eruptions, and on July 4, a first occurred at 3:25 WITA; the ash column reached 2,000 meters.
The second occurred at 12:20, accompanied by a plume of ash 2,500 meters above the summit, before bowing to the west. It lasted only 1 minute 58 seconds, but with an amplitude of 24 mm on the seismogram.
In an interview with Tribun Bali, Dr. Devy Kamil Syahbana commented: " We have not seen any sign of a strong eruption ... later, if we see an indication that a rash might have the potential to threaten the population, we will increase the alert level of the Agung accordingly, which is not the case at the moment. "

As every year, thousands of locals and tourists have climbed the Gunung Bromo for the Kasada ceremony.
It was during this holiday that the Tenggers made offerings of vegetables, fruits, poultry and cattle to the Hindu gods, throwing them into the crater of the Bromo volcano.
