After the eruption of July 2 in the early evening, some forest fires on the slopes of the volcano Agung marked the day of July 3.

On July 3, an eruption was observed at 4:13 WITA, accompanied by an ash plume rising about 2,000 meters above the summit. It lasted +/- 7 minutes with a maximum amplitude of 21 mm on the seismogram.

The volcano's conduit, free, allows again ashy eruptions, and on July 4, a first occurred at 3:25 WITA; the ash column reached 2,000 meters.

The second occurred at 12:20, accompanied by a plume of ash 2,500 meters above the summit, before bowing to the west. It lasted only 1 minute 58 seconds, but with an amplitude of 24 mm on the seismogram.

In an interview with Tribun Bali, Dr. Devy Kamil Syahbana commented: " We have not seen any sign of a strong eruption ... later, if we see an indication that a rash might have the potential to threaten the population, we will increase the alert level of the Agung accordingly, which is not the case at the moment. In Krakatau, an eruption occurred on July 3 at 18h21 local, justifying an orange aviation code. Magma Indonesia adds that the eruption and the emission of ashes continue

Since early July, some thermal anomalies have been observed by Mirova, oscillating between 41 and 7 MW.

For July 3, seismicity can be summed up in 83 earthquakes, 183 earthquakes. The volcano is not visible, and covered with fog.

As every year, thousands of locals and tourists have climbed the Gunung Bromo for the Kasada ceremony.

It was during this holiday that the Tenggers made offerings of vegetables, fruits, poultry and cattle to the Hindu gods, throwing them into the crater of the Bromo volcano.

All is not lost in this culturo-religious heckle, because the offerings are recovered from the crater by Indonesians belonging to other religions.

In Ecuador, the Reventador produced an ash plume that, according to VAAC Washington, rose to 3,000 meters above the crater on July 2 at 11:16 local time. Fine ashes fell on the two provinces of Pichincha and Napo.

The activity of the volcano remains at a high level, erupting since November 2002. The internal seismicity is characterized, between July 1 and July 2 at 11am, by 15 LP earthquakes and 2 explosions.

In the Galapagos, Sierra Negra's surface and internal activity levels remain high.

From July 2nd to 3rd at 11am local time, the IG reports 241 volcano-tectonic earthquakes, 37 LP earthquakes and 2 VLP earthquakes.

During the last 24 hours, about fifty volcanic earthquakes have been located at a depth of less than 5 km; the strongest was on the east flank of the volcano, at a depth of 2 km, with a magnitude of 3.4.

The satellite images show gas and vapor emissions, and the presence of lava flows.

Two short news :

In Pacaya / Guatemala, the Insivumeh mentions an increase in activity, with internal tremor linked to the rise of magma, and two lava flows.

In Kilauea, the situation is without major changes; other houses were the victims of the advance of the lava at Kapoho, whose "house with a blue roof" that had resisted until then, surrounded by lava. It was destroyed on July 2nd at 6:48.
