An explosion marked the Nevados de Chillan complex this July 15 at 3:24 local / 7:24 GMT.

An incandescent column about 340 meters high accompanied this explosion, propelling an abundant material that was deposited on the NNE flank near the active crater.

An earthquake with a local magnitude of 3.8 and a depth of 1,800 meters associated with the explosion and dynamics of fluids within the volcanic system was recorded.

The activity has been rising for a few days: on July 14, an explosion is recorded at 15:30 local, associated with an earthquake of Ml 3,9 to 1,400 meters deep; and on July 13, at 20:55 local, associated with an earthquake of Ml 3.7 and a depth of 430 meters.

These events suggest a scenario of increasing the level of activity.

For the moment, the volcanic alert remains in Naranja, and in Amarilla for three communes close to the volcano, San Fabián, Coihueco and Pinto, for the Civil protection,

In Kilauea, the situation is stable at the level of sea entrances, the lava enters, without visible connections on the surface, at various points of the casting front over 6 km.

The southern edge of the stream, for the moment at 1 km from Isaac Hale Park, threatens a surf spot in Bowls / Pohoiki; if the movement continues at the current standards, Pohoiki should be impacted in less than a week.

In Pacaya / Guatemala, an increase in Strombolian activity has been noticed for months. Explosions propel materials to 15-75 meters in height.

A lava flow on the north-northeast flank reaches a length of 400 meters on July 15, and particles break away from it to be blown away by the winds, as well as small avalanches are observed in a similar direction.

The Vanuatu observatory does not give too much news of the situation on Ambae.

The comparison of the 19.05.2018 and 13.07.2018 images makes it possible to verify morphological changes, with almost complete filling of the western part of Lake Manaro Voui, which leaves only a small surface of water south of the active cone. .
