A series of small earthquakes have been recorded in the southern ridge of Tenerife; the last of magnitude 0.7 and 1.4 at a depth of 8.4 and 8.8 km.
The alignment with the volcanic cones, and the fact of the seismicity unfolding in an area where they are infrequent, call out.
Historically, the last eruptions in Tenerife begin with a seismic sequence in the Valle de la Orotava ... and this makes us think about the fissure eruption of 1430 which lasted about thirty days.
To watch, despite the green semaphore of PEVOLCA.
