A small eruption, accompanied by pyroclastic flow occurred at Merapi (Java) on September 22, 2019 at 11:36 WIB. The seismographic recording has an amplitude of 70 mm and a duration of 125 sec. An ash plume has reached 800 meters above the summit (about 3,700 meters asl.), and the VONA is orange.
The construction-destruction activity of the dome continues with falling rocks, producing pyroclastic density currents.

The explosive-extrusive eruption continues on 21 September in Sheveluch, accompanied by a plume of ash at 4,500 meters asl., Drifting southeast of the volcano for 18 km.

Numerous daily volcanic earthquakes continue to mark the activity of the Taal volcano in the Philippines.
In the past 24 hours, 38 volcanic earthquakes have been recorded.
The last field measurements, carried out on September 19, reveal an increase of 10 cm. of the water level in the western sector of Crater Lake. A slight inflation is always indicated.
The alert level remains at 1, not imminent eruption. It is advisable not to approach the main crater because of toxic gaseous fumes and the potential risk of sudden phreatic eruption.
