The past week at Sakurajima (from April 2 to 6, 2020) the eruptive activity actively continued.
JMA reports up to 15 eruptions on April 4 at the Minamidake crater, with block ejections at 600-900 meters, and according to an alert bulletin, could reach up to 2 km., and plumes reaching 3,800 m. altitude.
Night glow is observed.
Seismicity is dominated by numerous volcanic earthquakes.
The inclinometers and extensometers indicate that the volcano is raised (inflation) and widened, signs of a continuous feeding.

In Kamchatka, the explosive activity of the Klyuchevskoy continues: moderate explosions, with ash plumes at 5,000-5,500 meters asl. are reported on April 6 and 7 by KVERT and VAAC Tokyo.
No lava flow is reported.
The aviation code remains orange.

7 avalanche earthquakes, 2 blast earthquakes, 18 hybrid earthquakes (on the rise), 7 tectonic earthquakes and 3 of low frequency.
Colorful fumaroles can be observed during the day.
The activity level remains at 2 / waspada.
