The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Etneo Observatory, informs that from 10:16 UTC on November 20, single explosions are observed at the level of the northeast crater of Etna, with emissions of diluted ash which are immediately dispersed in the summit area.
The phenomenon is still ongoing. There are no significant variations in the mean amplitude of the volcanic tremor, remaining in medium and medium-low values. The source is located in the area of the Bocca Nuova and Voragine craters at an altitude of about 2800 m asl. The infrasonic activity is at low levels, both in terms of number and amplitudes and it is located at the Bocca Nuova.
GNSS and clinometric deformations of the soil do not show significant changes.

Fuego - Sentinel-2 bands 12,11,8a & Modis thermal volcanic activity at 11.20.2021 / 4:39 p.m. - Doc. Mirova
In Guatemala, the Fuego maintains its activity this November 20 with 8-11 explosions per hour, generating ash plumes at 4,300-4,700 m. asl., dispersing southwest.
Avalanches occur mainly towards the Ceniza, Trinidad, Taniluya barrancas, and more weakly towards the Santa Teresa and Las Lajas barrancas; some reach the vegetation limit.
Ash falls are reported on Panimache, Morelia, Santa Sofia, Yucales, and El Porvenir.
Mirova has detected moderate thermal anomalies in recent days, with a max of 52 MW.

Karymsky's eruptive activity continues. Satellite data showed that explosions sent ash up to 5.4 km above sea level and an 11 x 8 km ash cloud drifts 115 km northwest of the volcano.
Moderate eruptive activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 10 km altitude. could arise at any time. Current activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
The aviation code remains orange

La Palma - plume and lava flow from 20.11.2021 overnight - photo Ruben Lopez / Twitter - one click to enlarge
As of November 20 at 10 a.m., 69 earthquakes have been located in the southern part of the island of La Palma, near the current volcanic eruption. Four of these earthquakes were felt by the population.
The number of earthquakes has increased compared to the previous day and they are distributed in both intermediate (10-15km) and deep (30-40km) depths.
At 03:07 UTC, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 mbLg was recorded at a depth of 37 km and felt by the population with a maximum intensity of IV (EMS).
The tremor signal continues at a low level with slight fluctuations over the last few hours.
The island's network of permanent GNSS stations shows an elevation of about 6 cm between November 17 and 19 as well as a southwestward deformation at station LP03, which is closest to the eruptive centers. In the rest of the stations, the slight deflation possibly linked to the deep seismicity has stabilized.
In view of the image calibrated at 08:45 UTC, a column height of 3200 m is estimated, and a cloud diffusing in the easterly direction.
La Palma - evolution of lava flows on 20.11.2021 / 10h - Doc. Carlos Van / Twitter - one click to enlarge
The volcano exceeded the emission of 10 million m³ of pyroclasts, which is why the Pevolca raised its explosiveness index from 2 to 3, on a scale of 8. This value of 3 does not imply that the eruptive mechanism (effusive-strombolian fissure with phreatomagmatic impulses) where the explosiveness of the eruption has changed, nor is it intensifying.
As for the advance of the three lava flow fronts, growth is weak and slow, although the lava has affected new areas of agricultural cultivation.
Regarding air quality levels, since Friday they have remained stable, with good or reasonably good values.
Yesterday, due to the accumulation of ash on the runways, the airport was inoperative, which forced the cancellation of all scheduled flights to the island. The weather conditions should remain unfavorable for air navigation in the next 24/48 hours.
