Gunung Ibu erupted on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11:16 a.m. WIT, with an ash column observed at ± 4000 m above the peak (± 5325 m above sea level). The ash column is observed to be gray with thick intensity to the west. This eruption was recorded on a seismograph with a maximum amplitude of 30 mm and a duration of 184 seconds.

The Sernageomin announces a seismic swarm this June 4, 2022 around 6:39 a.m. at the Laguna del Maule volcanic complex; it counts some 150 events associated with the fracturing of VT type rocks.
For now, the technical alert remains at Green.

According to a Landsat 9 satellite image from June 5, the Etna SEC flow is now more than 3 km long on the eastern flank of the Valle del bove.
Ash and gas emissions are still relevant at Bocca Nuova and at the top of the SEC, extending towards the Mediterranean.
