Photos of the cooling lava flows, emitted by the eruptive fissure at the base of Serracozzo (1980 m.) on the flanks of Etna, taken during a field inspection on June 5-7, 2022 by Francesco Ciancitto and Daniele Andronico, of INGV OE, went online on June 10.

In its latest press release, the INGV reports that the flow resulting from the crack is poorly fed and has reached a maximum length of 170 m. approximately, with a lava front at an altitude of approximately 1938 meters and is cooling.

As of June 10, 2022, the seismicity of Bulusan, put by Phivolcs on alert 1, has not decreased.

During the last day, the observatory counts 149 volcanic earthquakes.

The plume is moderate, about 100 meters high, and drifting northwest.

At the deformation level, inflation is noted.

On June 9, sulfur dioxide emissions were 824 tons per day.

Under activity level 1, it is not allowed to enter a 4 km zone. of radius, considered as a permanent danger zone, due to the risk of possible sudden phreatic eruption, or steam.

At Reventador, according to the IGEPN in its bulletin of June 9 / 11 a.m., the level of surface activity remains high and unchanged.

THE VAAC Washington notes 4 emissions of gas and ash between 1,000 and 1,338 meters above the crater, with dispersion to the west southwest.

The seismicity is characterized by 11 explosion earthquakes, 54 LP earthquakes and 35 periods of emission tremors.

FIRMS recorded 5 thermal alerts.

A nocturnal incandescence was observed, as well as the morning emissions, before the sector became cloudy.
